- JRF (Remote Sensing & GIS): MSc or equivalent in Remote Sensing(RS)/ RS and GIS/Geomatics with First Division
- JRF (Geology) :M.Sc or equivalent in Geology/ Geography/ Applied Geology with First Division
- JRF (Computer Science): BE/B. Tech./M.Sc. in Computer Science/ Engineering with First Division
- JRF (Civil Engineering): BE/ B Tech in Civil Engineering
